Houle Insulation Inc

Serving Andover, Minnesota, from 17241 Partridge St NW, Houle Insulation Inc. provides insulation and related contracting services. The company handles attic insulation, attic bypasses, sidewall insulation, attic floor insulation, basement wall insulation, crawl space insulation, cathedral roof and vaulted ceiling insulation, sound insulation, and fish house insulation. Spray foam work includes closed-cell spray polyurethane foam, or SPF. A specialty is re-insulating existing homes in Minnesota. The work includes sidewalls, attics, bypass sealing, and blower door testing. For homeowners and property owners considering insulation updates, the range covers common problem areas such as attics, basements, crawl spaces, and vaulted ceilings that may need different materials and methods. Before choosing an insulation contractor, ask for a written scope that identifies each area to be treated and the insulation material proposed for it. Ask whether blower door testing is performed before and after the work, and how attic bypasses and other air leaks are sealed. For existing homes, ask how the contractor will assess current insulation, moisture, ventilation, and any conditions that affect attic floors, sidewalls, basement walls, crawl spaces, or cathedral ceilings. If spray foam is proposed, confirm that it is closed-cell SPF and ask which areas will receive it. Also ask how the contractor will protect and clean the interior during installation, and what the final inspection or testing steps will include.
