Primrose School of Andover at Crosstown

In Andover, Minnesota, Primrose School of Andover at Crosstown is a private preschool and childcare provider offering educational daycare for young children. Its stated aim is to inspire a lifelong love of learning. The school is at 15216 Bluebird St NW. Care and education are organized by age and stage, with programs for infants, toddlers, early preschool, preschool pathways, preschool, pre-kindergarten, transitional kindergarten and kindergarten. Before and after school care and a Summer Adventure Club extend the options for families whose needs go beyond the preschool day. The approach is called Balanced Learning, with enrichment programs, measuring progress, health and safety practices, Primrose Friends, and a school-to-home connection as parts of the early education and care programs. For parents comparing childcare and daycare in the Andover area, the age range runs from infant care through kindergarten, with before and after school care and a Summer Adventure Club also available. When evaluating a preschool or daycare, ask how the curriculum is adapted for each age group, what enrichment programs are included in the regular day, and how progress is measured and shared with families. Ask specific questions about health and safety routines, staff-to-child ratios, teacher credentials, and how transitions between infant, toddler, preschool and kindergarten rooms are handled. If before and after school care or summer care matters, confirm which ages those programs serve and what the summer club includes. Also ask how the school-to-home connection works day to day and what a typical balance of care and learning looks like for your child's age.
